Welcome to the first entry of this website, 6874647.xyz. While not an elegant name, it is symbolically relevant: the numbers "6874647" correspond to the word "musings" when read on a phone keypad. Also, I do find they have a pleasant sort of rhythm when read aloud.
The creation of this website came about more or less on a whim. Future plans remain fuzzy at this point, but the main ideas are (1) to write about whatever comes to my mind and (2) to store primary sources I find useful (for example, public domain philosophical texts) with accompanying personal commentary.
For the time being, I am operating under the assumption that, likely, no one else will come across this content. I have no plans to promote it, and anyway, the site's main purpose is simply to be a place for me house my musings. If, however, you are indeed a third-party reader, I welcome you. I cannot, at this point in time, imagine how you have come to discover this corner of the internet. Regardless, I hope you will find something of value here. Feel free to explore, and I wish you the best with the rest of your life.
